Zinc is a white silvered colored metal which is used for galvanization of various metals to avert corrosion. This metal is also used as one of the key elements of die cast manufacturing process. Its application can also be noticed in alloy based aluminum, brass and nickel silver. The oxide form of this product is utilized to produce plastics, rubber, paints and inks. It easily dissolves in acid and alkali. One of the unique features of Zinc is, it does not react with oxygen in presence of dry air. Known for its good electrical conductivity, the reaction of this metal with dilute acid results in discharge of hydrogen.
1) The offered metal does not react with water.
2) It is notable for its silvered colored appearance.
3) Heating of this metal increases its flexibility.
4) It burns when comes in contact with air and produces its oxide form.
